No Coal UNC is a coalition of neighbors, UNC Chapel Hill students, and nonprofit organizations envisioning a clean energy Carolina.
Together, we aspire to creatively transform the UNC system so it exists in harmony with the natural world.
We envision a near future where the university is a champion of environmental justice, centered on the needs of the students and the larger community, and a leader in fostering healthy environments for students, the local community and the world.
UNC should run on 100% clean, renewable energy and should immediately take all the steps necessary to make this happen.
